What our partners are saying about us

“We’re ramping up to serve 500 households between now and July of next year, and TaskRabbit’s deep-clean, moving truck, repair and furniture-assembly support have been absolutely critical.”

Anthos Home

[TR4G’s] support proved to be an incredibly meaningful and practical addition to the program. For many of our recipients, having furniture delivered was only part of the journey—your grants helped ensure that families could truly settle back into their homes with dignity and ease.”

From House to a Home

“Thank you so much to TaskRabbit for getting in and getting all the hygiene kits and dog food bags done! Each bag will make such a difference to our unhoused neighbors and their furry friends!”

Frequently asked questions

Most move-out cleans take between 4-8 hours. The exact time depends on the square footage of your home and the level of cleaning needed to make it move-in ready for the next resident.

A move-in cleaning may take slightly less time, 3-6 hours, depending on the condition the previous tenants or owners left it in. If they completed a thorough clean before leaving, then your move-in cleaning will likely be quicker.

For portable/window units, install your it in a window that receives the least amount of direct sunlight, such as the north side of your home to maximize efficiency.

For HVAC units, these should be installed in a shady area, approximately two to three feet away from the house. Installing an HVAC system on the north or south side of your home is ideal.

Placing your HVAC or window unit in a sunny area will cause it to work harder on humid Winnipeg afternoons, leading to higher energy bills and decreased efficiency.

Yes, Taskrabbit allows you to browse Taskers available for same-day AC installation service in Winnipeg. This is a practical solution during unexpected heatwaves when traditional cooling contractors may have weeks-long waitlists.
